Head Coach Kenneth Bush
Co-founder of MPowered Athletix and Head Coach of MPowered Athletix Track Club.
An Orlando native, Coach Bush has over 35 years of experience as an athlete and a coach. He graduated from Evans High School and attended Florida A&M with a scholarship in track & field.
Under the tutelage of Coach Bobby Lang, Coach Bush was a member of 6 conference championships teams (indoor/outdoor) and multiple NCAA-qualifying 4×100 & 4x400 relay teams.
As a former athlete, military veteran, educator, and a Level 1 USATF certified coach, Coach Bush's life experiences and instructional trainings have provided a deep understanding of the sport, and what it takes to succeed. He is dedicated to the whole development of each athlete -physical, mental, academics- to reach their full potential, both on and off the track. With a positive attitude and a focus on work ethic and determination, Coach Bush strives to create a supportive and encouraging environment for all athletes.When not on the track, you can find Coach Bush supporting youth as an educator for Orange County Public Schools, working out at the local gym, researching new training techniques, or finding new ways to support the youth. Associate Head Coach Donette Taylor
Coach Taylor was born in Jamaica and came to the USA on a 100% paid track scholarship to attend the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.Coach Taylor obtained her Masters Degree from the University of Oklahoma in Human Relations.She is a Level 1 USATF coach; Certified track coach in Jamaica. Two time all American in track at University of Oklahoma. Received several awards such as High Point award in 1996. Women's captain for the track team 1995-1999 Girls Head Track Coach for Wekiva High School.Coach Taylor Represent her native country Jamaica in thePan American Games;Commonwealth Games; Goodwill Games, and Pan American Games.While training in 2000 to present for the Jamaican Olympic trials she suffered a knee injury which caused her to retire permanently from track and focus on instead giving back to the youth in the community.

Coach Tony Harley
Has over a decade of coaching experience to include track and field as well as football. Graduate of Florida State University and has been not only a coach over the years, but also has 24 year experience mentoring youth in positions of therapsist and teacher.
Currently Coach Tony is Assistant Coach for the girls Wekiva High School track team where his expertise are the hurdles and long jump. He has helped and assisted in the development of student athletes earning All American accolades within the AAU circuit.
Coach Tony expects dedication, effort, and hard work in order to be successful in both academics and athletics.

Coach Mike Monroe
Coach Mike has been coaching and refereeing youth sports in Orange County for many years at all age levels and in multiple sports. His coaching philosophy is built around developing the fundamentals, motivating to bring out the highest possible individual effort and requiring a team approach from all players. As an experienced long jump coach, I have dedicated my career to helping athletes achieve their full potential in this challenging event by helping them improve their technique, build strength and endurance, and develop the mental toughness needed to succeed in competition.

Coach Mark Bankston
Mark Bankston is an experienced and dedicated coach with a passion for helping individuals reach their full potential. With 5 years of coaching experience, he has successfully guided numerous athletes to achieve their goals and excel.
Mark's track journey began during his high schools years, where he ran the 100, 200 and the anchor leg of 4 x 100 relay as a varsity athlete. His love for the sport and natural leadership skills led him to pursue a career in coaching. He specializes in sprints, relays and block starts.
Overall, Mark Bankston is dedicated to helping individuals unlock their full potential and achieve their athletic goals. His passion for coaching, combined with his knowledge and experience, make him a valuable asset to MPA.
